Hi, I’m Abianne, I’m so glad you’re here. I started CatSpring Yaupon close to a decade ago. Since then, we’ve grown into a robust, woman-led company that cares about our land and our people. We uncovered the incredible legacy of yaupon during the historical Texas drought of 2011. On our family ranch in Cat Spring, Texas, we were losing everything from our 100 year old oak trees to our hay. Except for the yaupon; the yaupon was fine. After researching, we discovered a legacy of consumption that was long since forgotten.We couldn’t believe that no one was commercially sharing such an incredible resource. How was something so special completely forgotten? We set out to share this amazing Texan resource, and CatSpring Yaupon was born.

At CatSpring Yaupon, we understand the value of community and the power that comes when we work together. From our hometown of Cat Spring, we are rooted in the belief that sustainability is about more than the land. In sharing yaupon, these core beliefs have been the foundation of our mission to revitalize a lost tradition. We’re glad to bring you on this journey with us to enjoy a Texan treasure.
