About

Le Dix-Sept is a botanically inspired pastry and confection company based in San Francisco, California. Founded in 2011 by Bay Area native, Michelle Hernandez, who moved to Paris to pursue Le Grande Diplôme at Le Cordon Bleu. She stayed in the City of Lights after graduating to train and work at Michelin-starred restaurants.

Today, Michelle uses the technical skills she learned while working in Paris to create unique pastries that show off her passion for art, design and healing powers of flowers and plants. She creates edible art that incorporates her love of flowers, herbs, teas, honey and cacao.

Originally drawn to working with these healing ingredients for herself, she works them into all the pastry she develops in order to share the botanical magic with her clients in pastry and confection form.
