Parker Clay crafts premium leather bags and other goods that provide dignified employment and uplift women out of exploitation. As consumers continue to demand details of their purchase journey, Parker Clay shares the hours of equitable employment created with each purchase so customers can fully understand the difference they’re making. Parker Clay believes that a better process and better bag leads to a better world.
Ethiopia is the largest producer of livestock in Africa and is consistently listed in the top 10 worldwide, with over 100 million cattle, sheep, and goats.
Parker Clay is hand selecting each piece of leather to ensure that only the best quality is used in every product. The hardware we use is also world class such as our RiRi zippers imported from Switzerland. We are also using hand woven scarfs from a group of women in the capital city of Ethiopia, Addis Ababa. Each piece that makes up a Parker Clay product is carefully selected to make up a world class product.
